| The Competition Squad Once you have been invited to join the competition squad, a code of conduct and 'contract' is signed by the parent to ensure that you and your child is aware of the dedication and time required to be part of the team.
Team members are required to train for a minimum of 4 hours per week on two seperate training sessions. Some members do the full amount of hours on offer, up to 12 hours per week, but it is not compolsory as we are aware that there are many other activities that happen outside of trampolining!
Team training times and venues
Our Head Coach will confirm the exact fees once the hours of training have been decided. The fees are calculated on a 48 week year (4 weeks not charged to allow for Club closures) and divided into 12 equal monthly payments. The fees are a sliding scale dependant on the number of hours trained. The fees are paid monthly in advance, by standing order and unfortunately, there is no reduction if your child misses lessons.
The BAGA membership is compulsory, which is paid yearly in September, currently £ 25per year for competetors at Grades I to E and £50 for Regional D, National C, FIG B and FIG A competitors. This includes insurance cover, for injury during trampolining competitions and training; badge, calendar and a magazine.
Competition leotards are uniformed and you must purchase your own via the club. You must own a club leotard in order to enter competitions.
The cost of the competition entry fee is dependant on the grade of competition you enter. To start with you will compete locally in the South West, as you progress through the grades you will then start to compete on the National competition circuit which will involve overnight stays. You will also have the opportunity of competiting abroad, in the past we have travelled to France, Portugal and Sweden to compete.
